Treatment coordinator, Deanna Miley, is Dr. Seitz's right-hand "man". She has over 20 years of dental experience in addition to her Dental Assistant degrees from Bryan Institute in May 1978, & from Wichita Area Technical College, April 1999. She has been assisting at Ark City Dental since June 22, 1990. By having hundreds of advanced & continuing dental education hours, she has become an expert in clinical & analytical dentistry. Deanna is certified in Supra Gingival Scaling, for straight-wire orthodontics, dental & hygiene assistance, & is in charge of developing your personal treatment plan. Simply speaking, she is your image consultant. Ark City, Kansas, has been the lifelong residence of Deanna & her husband, David. They are proud of their two daughters, Alisha, married June 2003 & attending Oklahoma State University, & Tiffany, a 2003 senior at Ark City High School.
Registered hygienist, Terri Watson, specializes in treating periodontal disease. Her goal is to restore & maintain your optimal oral health by helping you maintain healthy gums & regularly cleaning your teeth. While keeping you informed on your current oral health state, she is also an expert on stain, plaque, & calculus removal along with the treatment for infection. She has over 20 years dental experience, & has worked at Ark City Dental since Jan. 26, 1990. As a member of the Dental Hygiene Association, she has attended many hours of continuing education. She graduated from WSU in 1992, has been married to Lyle for 27 years, has 2 daughters, Lisa & Ashley, & 2 grandchildren, Noah--2 1/2 years & Teryn--5 years (the true highlights of her life). Terri's other interests include working with charity organizations such as Ambucs, volunteering with local school dental checks, remodeling older homes, & attending Oklahoma Sooner football games. She is extremely outgoing, fun, & friendly & has a message for you: "I truly enjoy working as a hygienist with Dr. John. We've been partners in healthcare for 15 years. We really strive to give you the best in dental care, increase your knowledge, & create the ultimate dental experience. The administrative genius of Ark City Dental is Becky Brown. She does everything from making appointments to maximizing third-party benefits to their fullest degree. The handling of all the day-to-day financial & accounting needs is fun for her! She maintains efficient scheduling systems & keeps the "business end" of the practice in ship-shape order. Becky has a degree in accounting & started working with our team on July 7, 1998. Three children, Faith, Luke, Micah, keep Becky & her husband, Brett, busy at home.
Dana sits at our front desk area and is responsible for everything pertaining to scheduling, insurance and collections. Dana is married, with 2 children and has just recently bought a new home in the Dexter area. She has a very warm and caring personality and we are certain that you will like her as much as we do. Please tell Dana how much you appreciate her help and you will be impressed with outstanding service.
Lakin has been with us for nearly five years. She has been responsible for nearly all the behind the scenes work, from taking out the trash to placing gold crowns !! Lakin is attending Fort Hayes State University studying health promotion. Lakin likes to talk, so be sure you tell her hi when you come in!
With over four years experience, Kristi joined our team in July 2007. Kristi received her certificate in Supra Gingival Scaling from Wichita Area Technical College. Kristi and her husband Dustin live in Ark City, and have one addition.....a 5 year old boxer named Sadie! Kristi brings a gust of fresh air to the office being the youngest member of our outstanding dental team.
